Lost Symbol (formerly known as North Pacifica) is a war-torn nation on the continent of South America led by Grand Master Velyni Vas. He arrived in Orbis on January 5, 2021 after playing another nation-simulator called CyberNations where he served as Deputy Director of Diplomacy for the Independent Republic of Orange Nations.
Velyni's first choice for an alliance was The Knights Radiant where he was mentored. by BigMorf about the game. Soon after starting playing, he joined the ranks of the Foreign Affairs Department as a Diplomat under Cooper.
On February 10, 2021 players had started migrating from IRON in CyberNations bringing many members of the community. Vas decided to leave The Knights Radiant and take a leadership position on IRON Council as their Secretary of State. This alliance was a Protectorate under Aurora. He ended up staying there until realizing he wanted to switch due to difference in vision. His next home was The Fighting Pacifists where he joined Foreign Affairs as Low Government under Harry Flashman, joining someone who mentored him privately throughout his time in the game.
Eventually The Fighting Pacifists had much of their High Gov leave for Rose which prompted Velyni Vas to be promoted by Quichwe as Facilitator while also handling the Head of Foreign Affairs role. During his time in The Fighting Pacifists he assisted Lord Tyrion with running the bloc Oasis. Following the MyOasis treaty drama, where Oasis and Mystery Inc., two blocs in the game, signed a cross-block MDP, Vas began to think about expanding on his influence in the game.
Rose was chosen as the temporary destination, serving as Knight of Foreign Affairs under Harry Flashman once again. He spent his time while paying off debt to revamp their FA structure and server, while also assisting development of Rose’s allies in Mile High Club.
After 90 days, Vas found himself landing on his decision and taking his talents to The Hand of Fate, who had not done traditional FA in their existence. One of the first moves was creating HOGG to take on Eclipse. He decided to take an alliance-centric approach to their affairs following HOGG dissolving, leading to more of a shift and allowing them to blur the lines with coalition building. Eventually The Hand of Fate would rebrand back to Knights Templar.
In January 2025, Velyni accepted an offer to become High Justice of Rose, acting as their second-in-command and controlling their Foreign Affairs vision.
