Flag of the Third Japanese Empire
The Third Japanese Empire was a former state, that existed between October 2020 - February 2021.
Soon after the collapse of the New Empire, the Third Japanese Empire was established, emperor Takahiro conteniued to rule, but not with absolute power, instead the empire was now a constitutional monarchy, with the prime minister, Prince Nozu Michitsura, as the head of government. And in an unexpected move, the empire left the Grand Imperial Federation.
This empire lasted the long out of the early eras. It eventualy came to an end when emperor Takahiro was executed in Osaka, and the throne was given to his brother, emperor Mutsuhito.
