The Way the Cookie Crumbles is an alliance war that began on September 2nd, 2022 when Rose, Eclipse, and some of their extensions and protectorates blitzed GGO. Although their allies Advanced Syndicalist Mechanics and Weebunism were not part of the blitz, GGO began declaring wars against then later on.
Notably, GGO, Celestial, and Clock had signed an agreement two weeks prior to demilitarize from a previous militarization. The week prior to the war, Celestial also experienced some leaks before the war showing they discussed declaring war on GGO and/or Withheld in the near future, but The Syndicate, along with most of Celestial, chose to stay out of the war, with tS forming Wayward shortly afterwards. A week after the war began, Rose and Eclipse officially treatied and formed Ouroboros.
On October 2, 2022, ASM bank was looted for roughly $1.1b in value.
38 days after the war began, peace was announced along with a roughly 3-month NAP until January 2, 2023.
