The Sith Empire (TSE) was the third alliance to be formed during the Beta phase.
History
Poaching Drama
On January 3rd, 2014, the leader of TSE, Sith, would post on the Forums accusing StalinGrad of UCSR of attempts at poaching and threatened war when the mechanics released.[1] There was debate over whether or not the screenshot in the post was real or faked by Sith due to history outside of Orbis, but others chimed in also accusing StalinGrad of attempts at poaching from their alliances.
Decline
At some unknown point in early 2014 TSE leadership reportedly went inactive.[2] At the time of the post reporting this, TSE had dropped from 40 members at the start of 2014 to 27. It would continue to bleed members to an unknown point in time after they fell out of the alliance power rankings on March 27th, 2014 with 10 members.[3] Their official disbandment was previously cited as being January 2014, but has been changed to March 2014 due to the unknown nature of when leadership went inactive and there still being members well into March though almost none towards the end of it.
An interview with Sith on February 26th, 2014 was published in Volume 2 of the Blackstone Chronicles and explained that the reason for this decline in activity—and consequential decline in membership—was that TSE was moving on to another game (Federation Eclipse) due to boredom with Politics & War among other reasons.[4]
