The Communist International (TCI) is a leftist alliance formed on the 14th of September 2017 as a result of the coup and disbanding of the Global Communist Bloc on the 11th of September 2017. The Communist International announced that it would retain the original executive and legislative bodies, and would focus more on efficiency unlike previous administrations[1].

Government[]

The Communist International's government is split into 2 main sections: the Executive and the Politburo. The Executive focuses on the day-to-day operation of the alliance, along with anything that falls into the categories of: Economics, Defense, Immigration and Foreign Affairs (although this does not prohibit the Politburo legislating for these things), while the Politburo focuses more on law making and a a consultation body for the executive.

Executive[]

The Executive of the Communist International is lead by a democratically elected Chairman, along with a Commissar of Economic Affairs, Military Affairs, Foreign Affairs and Internal Affairs (who are appointed by the Chairman). Each Commissar holds executive power over their delegated area, along with staffing their own Commissariat.

Politburo[]

The Politburo is the official legislative body of the Communist International. It is lead by a Premier (who is a politburo member nominated by the Chairman and confirmed by the Politburo), and comprised of 1 Premier with additional of 1 Politburo member for every 10 members in the alliance. They are also democratically elected like the Chairman.
