North Atlantic Treaty Organisation is an aqua alliance with a tumultuous history of coups, betrayals and drama. Under the new administration, North Atlantic Treaty Organisation hoped to leave it's petty history behind and always begin to thrive.
It for most of its time had been a left-dominated big tent alliance, forming a strong association of friends, regardless of political stances, which ranged from centrism to Liberals to Conservatives to Socialists to Communists.
Formation[]
The North Atlantic Treaty Organisation was originally founded as United Nations by crocYT on September 11 2021. It was joined by Noob the First and the dog doing, and later by Bruhsam and President (Manchuria) and Emmanuel Macron who helped NATO progress significantly.
Major Events[]
NATO-USN War[]
NATO-USN War is the first major war of NATO; it started when the current leader crocYT declared war on United Socialist Nations members to end dictatorships and as a part of the war to end dictatorships. That will soon lead to waves of USN counter-declarations, beginning the NATO-USN War.
The war didn't last long though, as NATO surrendered after more than 1 week of war. A treaty would be made that officially ended the war with a victory for USN.
Day of Two Coups[]
After the war, the FA of NATO began planning to form a Coalition against United Socialist Nations. This resulted in the plans being leaked by several people, including MinesomeMC the leader of Prima Victoria. Another gov member of NATO stated that if they found out what spy leaked their plans they would permanently roll them until they deleted. This was leaked to Minesome and others, thanks to intel from George Putin of Aurora, and would bring in Changeup of Waffle House and Church of Sunray 1-1 who would convince the government to hand over heir perms and result in a coup putting the two plus Minesome in charge.
During the first coup, Alan of Black Skies would pay $150m to get MinesomeMC, Church, and Changeup to return the alliance to the rightful leaders. They would accept and would put those formerly in charge including Noob the First, who would coup the others who were restored. Making himself the only leader left.
The Grand Reform of NATO[]
After The 2 coups the first imposed by MinesomeMC and Prima Victoria and the second by Noob the first. Noob the first would immediately begin Eco and Gov reforms in NATO.
Noob the first would apologize to all nations and alliances wronged by the former leader and some NATO members. Immediately he began to build a new gov that was more fair. With help he was able to fix the economies major problems such as its super low taxes. After a few months the new gov would be built with a new district system instead of direct democracy. NATO would not only rebuild its gov and economy it also rebuilt its image. NATO would make greater peace with United Socialist Nations and gaining double the amount of treaties that it had before.
The Joint GIF Raid[]
The Joint GIF Raid or Nazi raid was a raid/war lead by NATO to raid and destroy the Grand Imperial Federation after its support for the Nazi party and use of the Nazi flag. This raid was joined by the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR), DEFCON-5, and Atlas Technologies.
This joint force conducted a mass assault leading to a quick victory in just 1 hour. GIF was sent into the gulag by the USSR as the alliance flag and leader were banned from PNW.
Grand Con Merge[]
This Merge Happened after multiple talks with the leaders of the Alliance Committee of Nations. After Multiple Raids from pirates and mass inactivity the leaders of CON and what was left of its inactive members planned a merge with the alliance NATO. After weeks of Talks and deals. CON finally enacted the merge into NATO. About 12-15 people would leave con and join NATO as the rest were left in the dead as they were inactive. The High officials would than become apart of the council.
The Coup attempt and the new NATO:[]
John, a 'new' PnW player, joined NATO. He quickly rised up the ranks, becoming a council member, and a diplomat to other alliances. He then, accused Noob of the coup, and managed to win votes to start an election for the leader. The elections had a few candidates:
- John
- Emmanuel Macron
- Viceroy of Bengal
- Emperor Noob the First
- Quest
- President Z
Noob, and Viceroy withdrew from elections, Noob being first. Quest, and President Z gained no votes, meanwhile Emmanuel Macron and John were gaining votes. Soon, President Z got disqualified. John stayed at 8 votes, Emmanuel at 3. John was quickly toppling the votes, and was going to win. But, John's votes dropped to 6, with Emmanuel's vote going up to 5. Eventually, Emmanuel approached 6. It was a tie. Before anything, John was caught to be a multi-accounter, and a player planning to takeover NATO, and establish a dictatorship. Thanks to Danny and Ppr (Ppr soon took charge of NATO), John was ousted, and Noob took power, with the elections considered invalid. Noob then transferred the power to Bruhsam, who transferred it to PprClip, also known as Leaves. Leaves will then begin grand reforms and re-organization of NATO.
The Final Step of The Nine Holds[]
On December 18th, only 7 days after Leaves became the new leader, Laila Law-Giver approached NATO about taking over the alliance and becoming leader. Laila would run the alliance for 3 months by force and then return the alliance back to Noob the First which was later turned out to be a lie. However, upon taking control of the alliance, Laila discovered rampant abuse, fraud and corruption within the leadership. After a confrontation Laila refused to hand over the discord server to Ppr. With that, Ppr and Noob left NATO, taking the FA server with them.
In Laila's first 5 days in leadership she changed the alliance on it's head, making it do a complete 180. Laila:
- Settled NATO's debt of $400m. A debt that was from the NATO-USN war.
- Set up a grant system and audits to help the alliance grow.
- Removed corrupt government members (including members of government who weren't even in the alliance)
- Removed back room trading privileges with alliances
Laila then rebranded NATO into "The Nine Holds" as a symbol that the issues and plagues of NATO would not touch the alliance anymore.
But, the former NATO members conspired against Laila. The reasons were because leaders were defamed, and were insulted. The head staff was good, and wanted good for it's members, and rarely or never had corruption. The thing was also discovered that Laila was a thief who was a defaulter of an accounted amount of 400 million orbis money. Laila couped Pprclip and blamed the faults on Pprclip. They thus decided enough was enough, and a person from them nuked the alliance, officially ending Laila's regime on NATO.
A new start[]
A new start happened after the nuke incident. After the nuke incident, North Atlantic Treaty Organisation split into three, The Nine Holds, Nyan cat and United Nations of orbis. Nyan cat was supposed to be a temporary split, and due to numerous raids and some personal issues of Bruhsam, he went to Vacation mode and the members either joined United Nations of orbis or joined Atlas technological co-operative. The United Nations of orbis was led by Zack, who due to personal problems went on to leave the game and return afterwards. But after many issues, Joseph Cameron of United states of Pantora decided to take over the alliance and rename it to it's original self, North Atlantic Treaty Organisation. NATO was looking forward but then Noob the first decided to create his own alliance called the Ghost division, which is protected by NATO despite sour relations. After this, NATO only saw forward and continued to go forward. They made Sanctuary their protector, established a proper server and have launched their recent one month plan, inspired by socialist 5 year plans to fix the issues in NATO. It is hoped by NATO that it will grow into a better and stronger alliance, despite hardships and a low reputation among the PnW community.
