The Federal Republic of the New American Federation (NAF) is a conservative nation in North America led by President Paul Ryan. The New American Federation is a current member and Premier of the League of Democratic Nations.
Brief Timeline
- May 2006- August 2011- A major Financial Crisis hits the United States hard. Causing a secondary Great Depression.
- November 2009- A variant of the Smallpox disease wipes through the West Coast of The United States infecting an estimated 29.88 million people within the first week.
- 2010- Paramilitary groups and Militia rise up in small revolts across the United States.
- July 5th, 2010- The Second American Civil War begins between the U.S. and various groups.
- February 2011- The President, Vice President, and the Secretary of Defense are all killed in an explosion in the President's Emergency Operations Center under the East Wing of the White House. The White House is also severely damaged.
- July 2nd, 2011- Washington D.C. falls to the Paramilitary groups known as The True Sons of Liberty (TSL) in southern D.C., and The Father's of Freedom (TFF) in Northern D.C. and New York City.
- October 2011- December 2012- The TSL begin a rapid expansion along the East Coast, annexing several smaller groups and fighting off TFF. The TSL then annex the TFF in November of 2012. They reach as far south to Richmond, and North to Boston. They then form The United Federation of Washington Liberties. (UFW)
- July 2nd, 2014- The United States Government is officially ended.
- July 4th, 2014- The United States officially is ended (July 4th, 1776 to July 4th, 2014)
- February 17th, 2015- The American Federation is founded after riots in New York City lead to destabilization.
- August 28th, 2016 - The American Federation is put down by the UFW.
- 2017- As The UFW loses power, several small rebellions sprout up, eventually put down, the UFW is much weaker.
- August 4th, 2018- The New American Federation is born in Washington D.C., now renamed New Columbia.
- 2018-Present- The New American Federation is the only internationally recognized countries formed after the 2nd American Civil War. A system of Government is set up identical to the U.S. Government. The 2nd Constitution is written, put on display at the newly rebuilt Capitol Building. A President and Congress are elected, with a Supreme Court-appointed. The New American Federation continues to be at war with The UFW, claiming new territory every day.
Government
The Government of the New American Federation is the same as that of the previous United States of America. The NAF has a national and state Congresses with both a Senate and House of Representatives, a Supreme Court with nine (9) Judges, and a President, Vice President, and other members of the President's Cabinet. National Elections are also won through the Electoral College.
