The war on piracy was a small armed conflict between the alliances Arrgh and The Monroe Republic together with MDMA. This conflict never had a formal end but effectively ended when The Monroe Republic and MDMA ceased to exist as alliances.
Background
The Monroe Republic was founded on January 5, 2016 by Church Gourley, who held a grudge against Arrgh due to conflicts with a previous alliance of his. It is known that Church Gourley attempted to gather foreign support to form a coalition to attack Arrgh. One of the alliances Gourley is known to have asked was Roz Wei, who shared this information with their associate Arrgh. MDMA was also asked to join this coalition but apparently under false information by Church Gourley. MDMA's true reason was because Arrgh has been constantly raiding there alliance and they wanted revenge! Church Gourley told MDMA leader PyroStat that TKP would also join the war on Piracy.

Monroe Responds Unofficially-
Redael Declares on God of Army after God of Army declared war on an alliance member, Gourley. This prompts more Arrgh Attacks on the Monroe Republic
War Declarations-The Monroe Republic and MDMA declare war on Arrgh, which leads to attacks from both sides, there have been hints to other alliances joining but there have been no declarations of war since.
In defence of Arrgh, the Odd Squad sign a treaty of Optional Defence with Arrgh, in case if TKP or other bigger alliance joins the war.
