Imperium of Man was a splinter from the alliance The Dead Rabbits, it was mainly ex-Digital Dopamine members as well as a large part of ex-Digital Dopamine gov, founded by Tautem(aka Dede) and Simons, the alliance was short lived.
Dede, ex-leader of Digital Dopamine was renown for its frequent merges and willingness to talk about his alliance whenever he could.
Simons has many years of experience in PnW, although he likes to delete his nation and create a new one shortly after. He worked as heir in Swords of Sanghelios, aka Divine Phoenix
The creation[]
The idea of creating a new alliance, was in Dede's head since the merge with the rohirrim happened. At the beginning everything was great, but soon after the merge problems started to arise. The difference in leadership, different plans and/or different priorities soon became an inconvenience.
The creation of the alliance was all made through secret group chats and back doors, The Dead Rabbits gov was made aware of the new alliance on the same day of the creation of it. It was a backstabbing move, which surprisingly didn't anger them. The alliance was created on the 1st of January 2022 under the protection of Cataclysm.
The early days[]
All IA gov, IA head included, wanted the alliance to be a quality over quantity recruitment type, but it failed to do so. It ended up as a mass recruitment alliance because the leaders wanted growth and wanted it fast. The gov was small and couldn't keep up all the workload, which was the beginning of the end. As soon as the alliance was created, it was doomed to fall.
The work that gov couldn't do, was handled by Simons. Although this caused many problems as frequent coups between Simons and Tautem happened, Simons left the alliance and blocked the access to all the documents multiple times, and came back many times. This episodes could last a day or two at max, and caused instability.
Treaties History[]
At the beginning IoM protector was Cataclysm but after around 1 month Cataclysm decided to drop IoM. The alliance then struggled to find another protector, at last The Fighting Pacifists accepted to protect IoM.
The instability didn't stop, and The Fighting Pacifists sent an ultimatum to IoM, in order for them to keep IoM as a protectorate they wanted Simons and Dark Emperor(a member) to be expelled from the alliance. The high government refused to accept TFP request and started to seek a new protector again, but before a new treaty could be signed, the leaders decided to disband the alliance and give all the members their deposits back. The bank didn't have enough and many remained empty-handed. In under 24h the alliance didn't exist anymore, after the announcement of the disbandment all the members that hadn't left within a set amount of hours[4-8] were kicked from the alliance, without enough time to seek another alliance.
Many gov members after the disbandment kept in touch and founded a new alliance, Las Vegas. Although some eventually came back home to The Dead Rabbits
