Overview[]
On March 31st, 2025, a major global war (referred to as RoseFall by EVH) erupted in the browser game Politics and War, triggered by a large-scale blitz against Rosesphere by Event Horizon (EVH), Knights Templar (KT), Spectre, and The Immortals (TI), along with some of their allies. The conflict followed a period of rising tensions and accusations of broken promises.

Reasons for the War[]
The conflict appears to stem from a breakdown in relations between Event Horizon and Rosesphere/The Golden Horde (TGH). According to a statement from Event Horizon ("Dow Rose - Lied People Died"), Rosesphere and TGH made promises of peace and a reset of relations in July 2024, which EVH claims were broken. EVH alleges that they were pressured by TGH and Rose to attack The Immortals and were implicitly threatened if they refused. Despite EVH honoring their commitments, they claim Rose and TGH used a "Protecting The Immortals" narrative to justify a large-scale attack against them.
The Immortals, in their declaration of war ("Dow Forever Immortal"), stated that Rosesphere's actions had not gone unnoticed and would no longer be tolerated, citing a year of hardship and betrayal.
The Golden Horde, in a response ("ROH - All EVH Does Is Lie"), refutes EVH's claims, stating that EVH consistently spread falsehoods and that EVH wanted to target The Immortals using a weak causus belli. TGH claims that EVH was already looking for a target and TI was at the top of their list. They deny pressuring EVH to attack TI and accuse EVH of breaking a Non-Aggression Pact (NAP) by spending billions on "Arrgh lotteries" to target TGH and its allies.
Notable Developments[]
- Camelot's Shifting Allegiance: Camelot's initial attack on The Immortals followed by a switch to attacking Rosesphere alliances and then peacing out is a noteworthy event.
- Allegations of Stat Manipulation: Community members raised concerns about the war statistics on CTOwned, alleging that Event Horizon members had a 1.5x damage multiplier for tank and other unit stats. According to Krampus this was caused by a method that calculates unit kills, which was used to test MongoDB aggregator pipelines on internal attacks, being pushed prod and causing the wrong calculations. The issue was fixed later. You can find the explanation and the code on Royal Orbis News
