The Galactic Sphere is a treaty web created by the Galactic Empire among nano alliances hoping to coordinate them in cases of attacks.
Structure[]
The Generals[]
The Generals of The Galactic Sphere include its founder (Galactic Empire), the strongest alliance in the Galactic Sphere not including the Empire and the alliance with the most treaties not including those 2. These are considered the most influential alliances within the Galactic Sphere. They are responsible for calling to arms all alliances in The Galactic Sphere in case of a war.
The Commanders[]
The Commanders of The Galactic Sphere are alliances which are not in The Generals category, but are either in the top 3 most powerful alliances in the treaty sphere, or have a minimum of 9 treaty points based on The Imperial calculation system of treaty points. They are responsible for coordinating The Soldiers and helping The Generals in case of a war.
The Soldiers[]
The Soldiers of The Galactic Sphere are the nations which are neither in The Generals category not in The Commanders category. These alliances will have the responsibility of ensuring they have the maximum number of spies in at least 1 nation per alliance and that they are prepared to use espionage on any enemies.
Imperial System of Treaty Points[]
The Empire considers each treaty to have a certain strength and value in terms of points. Here are the following strengths in terms of points which The Empire considers treaties to have:
NAP: 1 point (these alliances have agreed not to attack each other)
PIAT: 1.25 points (these alliances have agreed to share information with each other)
ODP: 1.5 points (these alliances have agreed on an optional treaty of potentially defending each other)
ODOAP: 2 points (these alliances have agreed on an optional treaty of potentially defending each other and participating in each other's wars as the aggressor)
Protectorate: 2.5 points (one alliance has to always defend the other)
MDP: 2.75 points (these alliances have agreed to defend each other in any war the other decides to ask them to join (unless they have the same or a stronger treaty with the alliance they are being called to arms in. In that case they have to make a choice of either joining one side, remaining neutral or providing/selling resources to one or both sides.)
MDOAP: 3 points (this treaty is one of the most powerful treaties based on the Imperial system of points. It means both alliances have to defend each other and can choose whether they participate in the other alliance's war as the aggressor)
Extension: 3.5 points (these alliances are directly connected to each other, either one is the extension of the other or they are permanent MDP/MDOAP allies which share a market and political system/theme.)
