From Lake Harbel to Mt. Secharil, it has a hemiboreal climate with varying biomes from bottom to top (Roleplay-wise). Its capital and largest city is Fireland City, though competition for largest city is fought with Khasmalia and Trevol.

First made in April 22, 2024 by .fireextreme (Discord username), Fireland started small and was eager to start anew. He played this game before, and as such knew a few things about it. Out of all the alliances he could've joined, two alliances, The Syndicate and Singularity, stood out to him. Ultimately, he had to choose Singularity as their alliance against future attacks and make progress swift. Fireland was part of that alliance for 6 months before being kicked out, to which he had to choose another alliance as The Syndicate was no longer available to him. During that time, he made fast progress, reaching 12 cities at the time and even took part in a war on their side. While Fireland didn't have an alliance for a brief moment, they were almost defeated by a raider of equal size, but was somehow able to win regardless. He eventually joined Event Horizon in October 10, 2024 where it currently stands today.

History[]

Roleplay-wise[]

Rise of the First Republic[]

Born from the Viroi Tribe, a man named Viros Ferexia rose up to power with intent to unite the tribes. He was a noble man who sought for progress, one who promised prosperity among the peoples. At first, the tribesmen didn't believe him, some even thought he was from the Siano Tribe, an enemy tribe of the Virois, attempting to take over the tribe for clout. However, once he spoke of how he would make everyone's lives much better than it was, many would slowly agree to his statements. From then on, both tribes would band together to form a sustainable society.

In Thavier 13, 24 (equivalent to March 13, 514 B.C.), the nation of Fireland would finally sprout in the continent. On the same day, the First Republic was formed by Viros to introduce an economic system and a much organized society. Over the coming years, the nation would thrive, with populations increasing drastically with the introduction of agriculture and primitive medicine. It wasn't long until Fireland City was founded and became capital of the entire nation. Two more cities were founded thereafter, further developing Fireland as a whole.

It would later occupy neighboring tribes to sustain the growing population, which led to some tribes becoming their own nations, two of the most powerful at the time being the Okalabera Nation and the Militarist Theocracy of the Paheklobin. Although most of the nations formed either died out or got captured by neighboring nations, some were able to outlast others. Nonetheless, Fireland still reigned supreme with its newfound power and unity.

Establishment of a Monarchy[]

Ten years since the rise of the First Republic, Viros Ferexia, to which everyone in the continent knows of already, became a powerful inspiration for the Firelanders. They seemed to worship him, so much as to create a religion out of his image named Viroism. Places of religion were erected, and the people came everyday to pray to their leader for praise and justice. When the Regents of Viros, as the Directors of Viros were known then, took wind of the actions made, they, along with Viros Ferexia himself, discussed on the matter. After a whole week, the decision was made.

When the Firelanders came to Fireland City Square on Orkha 6, 34 (May 6, 524), the Regents of Viros announced that Fireland was establishing a monarchy. Additionally, the recognition of Viroism as an official religion of the nation was formally introduced and became a mandate to everyone in the new monarchy. The streets were filled with people celebrating what is now known as The Day of Viroism, cheering for the acceptance of their religion.

The day after, Viros Ferexia issued temporary military control across the nation as to deal with potential assassination attempts. However, despite being pressured by the Fireland military, the people were able to uphold his destiny through Viroism, and were able to for 30 more years. Within this time, numerous reformations of the law were written, overall changing how society in Fireland functions. There were also a few instances of disagreement, but they were all from those that opposed the rule of Viros Ferexia. Otherwise, living conditions in the nation were good, everyone is happy in the kingdom, and Fireland is expanding further than never before. Everything went well until that fateful day.

On Zeithel 21, 65 (October 21, 555), Viros Ferexia was assumed to his deathbed after reporting about his sickness. It was too good to be true. Nonetheless, everyone gathered around the newly-built Ferexia Palace to pray for his prolonged life until his end. Three heirs stood before him, his son Cheil Rozhen-Ferexia, his Second-in-Command Borolti Garend, and a grand knight, Varend Zhentil II. All three heirs stood patiently until the “dying” Viros spoke with a few dry coughs. It was finally decided that the next king would be Second-in-Command Borolti Garend. His word was then spread amongst the people, honoring the new king in the name of Viros Ferexia. The day after, his funeral was hosted for everyone to watch, after which the new king would make his speech, promising that he would live on the legacy for the Firelandic monarchy.

Over the coming years, progress of Fireland stabilized. While some opposed his rule, others didn't seem to bother, living as if it were still the reign of Viros Ferexia. Viroism was still a very popular religion, however there were a few notable people that rejected the new king's rule. Thus began an internal conflict within the religion and the new King Borolti, which forced him to make drastic changes to counter them, ultimately leading to his downfall.

Fall of the Monarchy[]

A small group, to which they called themselves pro-Viroists, formed within the monarchy where its goal is to oppose the king's new rule in hopes to give rise the “true” heir of the kingdom: Cheil Rozhen-Ferexia. Despite never agreeing upon his potential position, saying that he accepted his father's word of a new king, the pro-Viroists insisted on his rule to continue the bloodline of the Ferexia family.
