The Cobalt Clique (CoC), referred to as Cobalt in-game, previously known as the Celestial Union (CU) is a medium sized blue alliance founded by Joshua Granger on October 26, 2014 as a My Little Pony themed alliance. On October 28, 2014, Grealind joined the alliance and was quickly promoted, emerging as the leader two days later. A little over a year later, Grealind stepped down and named Betulius leader of the Clique also release the original name "Celestial Union." Cobalt later disbanded after a war with Arrgh! known as the War of Cobalt Escalation in February 2016.
Alliance timeline[]
- October 26, 2014 - The Celestial Union is founded and Joshua Granger serves as its first Celestial King
- October 28, 2014 - Joshua Granger recruits his fourth member, Grealind, into the alliance. Grealind assists in setting up forums and an IRC channel.
- October 30, 2014 - Grealind is named Celestial King by the Celestial King, Joshua Granger. Grealind opts to retire the title of Celestial King from government, and instead named Joshua Granger Celestial King for life.
- November 9, 2014 - The Celestial Union enters 18 on Kurdanak's Alliance Power Ranking.
- November 10, 2014 - The Celestial Union moves from the Green color to the Blue color.
- July 29th, 2015 - Celestial Union changed its name to the Cobalt Clique
- November 3rd, 2015 - Betulius is named the new Potentate and Grealind retires
- February 15th, 2016 - Cobalt ends its protection of Odd Squad
- February 18th, 2016 - Rose terminates the Bluebonnet Accords
- February 29th, 2016 - The Cobalt Clique disbands
