The Fall of Rome is a conflict that started when Arrgh blitzed The Empire of Rome, the remains of the Empire of the Romans before EoTR merged into The Knights Radiant. A lot of conflicting information on the Justinian selling his alliance for the merge, and paying Arrgh to hit tEoR was being presented during the war. It is not actually fully known if Arrgh was paid or was simply taking advantage of tEoR splitting from EoTR mid-merge to mass raid tEoR.
