Event Horizon, also known simply as EVH is a cult themed Alliance founded as the result from the merger between Aurora (AUR) and Carthago (CTO)

Philosophy[]
Event Horizon is an Alliance with the characteristics of a religious movement, a multinational corporation, and a nation-state, which prioritizes economic growth for its members, valuing above all the motto Per Aspera Ad Astra. We endeavo to cultivate these concurrently and reward those with merits accordingly.
The Government has set up policies for members, henceforth named Acolytes which strive for the balance between the security in collective national growth and individual freedom, whilst having a strong preference towards efficiency and uniformity whenever possible.
The Government also is set off on providing opportunities and caring for everyone, valuing input regardless of their rank or seniority, focusing primarily on their diligence.

History[]
The following accounts are an attempt to chronicle the extensive history of the Alliance, predominantly a courtesy of Daveth, with subsidiary help from others.
Blue-Balled (January 3, 2024 - February 2, 2024)[]
On January 3, 2024, the Blue Balled war ignited as Singularity declared war on SAIL, which included Aurora, prompting a swift escalation with Carthago, MILF, VT, NEM, and FSO joining against Singularity, The Cypher, Camelot, and The Golden Horde. SAIL countered by declaring war on Singularity and its allies, while TGH and Micro Pockyclypse also entered the conflict. By January 31, new participants joined the coalition, including ODOO, and Rose, effectively bailing out Singularity and ending any viability of the conflict. The conflict ended abruptly on February 2 with a white peace and a blanket Non-Aggression Pact among all involved parties.
Merger (March 1st, 2024)[]
On March 1st, 2024, Event Horizon was founded, with members from both Aurora and Carthago joining immediately and the merger being announced shortly thereafter. The resulting Alliance quickly rose through the Alliance rankings and easily broke into Rank #2 within three days. This merge was the first and one of its kind at the time, because of how large the alliances that merged were.
Clinical Trials (August 3, 2024 - October 7, 2024)[]
Also known as the Ozempiggy Trials, the conflict began on August 3, 2024, marked a major conflict involving Event Horizon’s blitz against The Immortals and their extensions, aiming to act on the fact the Alliances had enjoyed a long period of peace. This war emerged shortly after The Immortals' previous defeat in Casino Royale alongside ODOO, being removed from the Bloc, with unfounded critics arguing that Event Horizon aimed to somehow drive The Immortals out of the game before they could recover. Some controversy also arose over The Immortals' O-Level allies, The Fighting Pacifists and Dark Brotherhood, for their lack of support, as well as debates on whether O-Level treaties could override Non-Aggression Pacts.
The conflict would eventually be peaced out on October 7, 2024, concurrently ending in a surrender to the combined forces of the Greatest Dogpile Ever™ & The Immortals, following the satisfaction of strategical goals.
Espresso (August 20, 2024 - October 7, 2024)[]
This was a major ongoing conflict which commenced on August 18, 2024. The war erupted when RoseSphere, Singularity, The Fighting Pacifists, and PentaForce launched a blitz against remnants of SAIL, The Syndicate, The Legion, as well as uninvolved parties such as World Task Force, and The Foundation. The conflict escalated further when this coalition also targeted Event Horizon, a former ally of Syndicate, on August 20, once the threat of SAIL was neutralized, notably when Event Horizon was still engaged in the Clinical Trials war against The Immortals. The assault on Event Horizon saw immediate counterattacks from the Knights Templar and Legion of Dawn, who rallied in support of their ally.
The conflict would eventually be peaced out on October 7, 2024, ending in a surrender to the combined forces of the Greatest Dogpile Ever™ & The Immortals, who were notably treated as a separate entity by the coalition during peace talks, despite claims from Rose that the attack was due to the wars against the Immortals and Pentaforce being considered "ethically wrong and deserving a response", notions which were openly criticized due to an apparent double-standard.
Government[]
The government is roughly based around a worshipping, cult-like group with the characteristics of a religious movement, a multinational corporation, and a national state.
The Government is subdivided into departments accordingly to respective attributions within the day-to-day operations of the Alliance, each of which are headed by two Harbingers each, alongside the Enlightened, Zealots, Fanatics and other additional staff roles supporting the proper functioning of any given department.

Council of Ascended (Leadership)[]
The Ascended hold the highest authority within the Alliance, making all critical decisions and possessing the power to appoint individuals to any position and veto any decisions. They embody the vision and strategic direction of the Alliance. Beneath them are the Overseers, who serve as the primary deputies to the Ascended and wield near-absolute power in their stead.
Both Ascended and Overseers have the option to retire at their discretion, at which point they assume the title of Elder. Elders, alongside the founders of the Alliance, act as senior advisors to the Ascended. Although they hold no formal authority on the Council, they offer valuable insight and guidance, and can provide additional support when needed.
Temple Prime (Ministries)[]
Below the Council comprised of Ascended and Overseers are the Harbingers (High Government) and the Enlightened (Mid Government). These groups work alongside the Zealots and Fanatics in the Low Government, collectively comprising the formal Government of the Alliance. Each body meets to deliberate on major government issues and policies, coordinating with the staff assigned to their respective departments.
