Darkness Collapse was a minor conflict that began on August 11th, 2022, when Age of Darkness blitzed the Maurya Empire due to them trying to convince Camelot to cut ties. During the first day of the war the total losses were already at $115 million for the Maurya Empire and $132 million for Age of Darkness. On August 12th, 2022, an Age of Darkness member said in a dm that another reason for the war starting was due to Maurya doing espionage on the Age of Darkness leader to assassinate his spies. In the same day an alliance named Omain activated their ODP with the Maurya Empire and attacked Age of Darkness. After the assassinating spies casus belli was told Age of Darkness showed a screenshot of the espionage operations which were later proven to be fake making the claim illegitimate. On August 13th, 2022, the Maurya Empire announced why they were trying to get Camelot to cut ties with the Age of Darkness. The reason was due to an alliance called the Nights Remnant which was what Age of Darkness was previously known as, stealing 600m from Maurya. On August 13th, 2022, Camelot cut ties with Age of Darkness and the alliance Morningstar signed a protectorate treaty with them instead. 2 days after the protectorate treaty was signed Morningstar dropped Age of Darkness with the reason being "they're retarded, and we want nothing to do with them". On August 17th, 2022, Age of Darkness admitted defeat and decided to merge with the very inactive nano Vikings. There were some issues after the merge with Age of Darkness members including the leader saying racist comments about Indians and using slurs on the Vikings discord.
