Ozempiggy Trials is a conflict that started on August 3rd, 2024 when Event Horizon blitzed The Immortals and extensions.
Controversy[]
The war was declared just 43 days after the conclusion of The Immortals' last defeat in Casino Royale meaning that The Immortals did not have sufficient time to be able to get ROI on their rebuild, leading certain nations of The Immortals to view this as Event Horizon attempting to roll The Immortals out of the game, this scenario especially being vocalised by The Immortals' former head of Milcom and at the time Pantheon Holder Grave. [1]
Another controversy sprouted from this war was scepticism cast at The Immortals' O-Level allies The Fighting Pacifists and Dark Brotherhood for not aiding the Immortals by 3rd party alliances[2] and debate whether or not an O Level treaty can supersede a NAP[3], however, The Immortals' Head of Foreign Affairs Alexio publicly stated that he respected their decision to not be involved. [4]
One of the presumed reasons for the war was The Immortals selling infrastructure in the past and this was again seen and vocally criticised in this war by media and Event Horizon leadership.[5]
