War History
Camelot's Insurgence is a conflict that broke out on December 8th, 2018 when Camelot began launching raids against Paradox. No formal Causus Belli was given nor Forum Posts made it but it was suspected that Paradox had appropriated the name and flag of a Cybernations alliance whom they had no ties to and that this offended the Black Knights and Camelot.
Argos, the protector of Paradox enter hostilities against Camelot immediately by launching five wars. These attacks were fully countered by Camelot before Argos launched another 10 wars. This staggered blitz resulted in overwhelming victory for Camelot.
Argos began suffering an exodus of its members after a constitutional crisis (brought on by the war) resulted in their democracy being replaced by a military dictatorship. The Hanseatic League was formed by by half of Argos (the majority of it's upper tier), though this unprotected alliance was attacked again by Camelot for war-dodging.
Result
After diplomatic relations were opened between Putmir and Epimetheus, Camelot granted The Hanseatic League its first protectorate, though it would only last for two weeks so that they could find a new protector. Paradox was granted white peace after a single round. After the end of the raid, Joel Ryan left the game for a short period of time. Leadership was passed down to Donatus IX, who was not capable of running the alliance and chose to merge with The Hanseatic League.
