A Tale of Two Vanguards is an ongoing conflict that broke out on November 20th, 2018 with war declarations by The Golden Horde and Knights Templar against The Revolutionary Front.
Prior to the war, the declaring alliances changed their themes to satirize members of the The Vanguard bloc. This theme carried through to the war, with the declaration of war by The Golden Horde and Knights Templar mockingly mirroring the declaration of neutrality declared by Vanguard in the concurrent Global War 12 a few weeks earlier.

- The Golden Horde declares their existence as "The Polaris" and warns of the coming war in advance.
- Knights Templar declares their existence as "The The United Empire of Zah'Aharon".
- Empyrea declares their existence as "The Order of The White Rose".
