A Bride in the Vermillion Forbidden City was a Mutual Non-Chaining Defense and Optional Aggression Pact signed between the Holy Britannian Empire and New Pacific Order on March 19, 2017.
Article 1: Axis Powers!
The Holy Britannian Empire and the Chinese Federation New Pacific Order come together to form this Mutual Defense and Optional Aggression Pact in the interest of friendship and mutual cooperation. As a result, both parties agree to resolve disputes in a fashion befitting friends, rather than enemies. The HBE and NPO agree to never attack one another.
Article 2: The EU Plots
It’s difficult to rest easy with the EU around, as such both alliances agree to share intelligence with one another, especially where vital to the security of the other.
Article 3: Knightmare Onslaught
Britannia continues to advance its Knightmare Frame technology, and with the Chinese Federation New Pacific Order’s adoption of the Knightmare Frame in combat, it’ll be hard to find a suitable enemy that could challenge them. However, should either treaty partner be attacked, the other will defend. Likewise, if one alliance chooses to engage in an aggressive campaign, the other may join. Sweet dreams.
Article 4: The Tibet Convention
In the event that one alliance is attacked as a result of an outside treaty being activated, or be attacked as a result of aggressive action by either alliance, then any mandate of article 3 of this treaty becomes entirely optional.
Article 5: The Collapsing Stage
Even marriages have a termination provision in divorce. As such, should either signatory believe irreparable damage has been done to their relationship, this treaty may be cancelled following a 72 hour notice period.
